Fox Maple Student Projects

It's always great to hear from past Fox Maple students about their own timber framing projects. Perhaps we've been remiss, but we'll try to keep posting more updates on the website of student projects. We have many to draw from, so over the next few weeks we'll try to post a series of student projects.

The photo's below show the work of John Pederson. John took the workshop in Telluride, Colorado in Summer 2000. John is a builder in Gresham, OR, attempting to make timber framing a part of his business. This was his first timber frame built on his own. A sweet garden house was the result. You can imagine his children played a part. Another generation of children exposed to timber framing. Timber framing is a great family recreation. It's evident that John understood the value of a score line, and fully understood the Jean-Claude Kielly effect.
Perfection and Grace. Great job John.
